I fell in love with wrestling my freshman year of high school when I first stepped into the mat room. My family growing up was a baseball family, so naturally I ended up playing softball for 10 years with both my Dad and my uncle coaching and pushing me to the top. But with wrestling it was different. My love for the sport grew all on it's own, I didn't need anyone to push me to dive head into the process of being the best... I naturally wanted it. This sport helped me grow into the powerhouse of a person I am today. It helped me grown, gave me a community of people who don't give up no matter how tough things are, and taught me how to pick myself up when things don't go right and still hold my head high when I try again. It showed me how tough I am all on my own, but also how great it feels to be on a team of supportive individuals who are all just looking to be the best at the thing they love. The sport has become a part of my life that I never want to step away from. Wrestling has made me into a better person, and I hope I can continue it into my college career.
P.S...My wresling team uses MatBoss instead of hudl, so if you'd like to see my wrestling video's from my previous season feel free to contact me.
