I started wrestling at the age of seven and although I took many losses that first year, it provided me with the drive to get my hand raised that I carry to this day. I just began my junior year at Liberty HS and have been appointed captain and look forward to leading my team to our third straight state title. I am hungry as ever since I had an early end to my season last year due to surgery. I am thankful to be back on the mat at a 100% and just finished the Camp of Champs in San Diego going 13-1.
I am just as dedicated in the classroom as I am on the mat holding a 3.7 GPA and aim to be in NHS this year. Academics are as important to me as wrestling in my search for a college.
In the wrestling room you won't find a harder worker. I have learned to embrace the grind and push myself both mentally and physically. I not only want to be a champion, but I am willing to put in the work to accomplish my goals.
