Talon Glasser '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Talon Glasser im currently 5"8 and about 135 pounds. I have wrestled for three years now for Willow Canyon Highschool. I have been on varsity for all three years. After my feshmen year I was appointed one of three captains on the varsity team. Although I was a young captain I wanted to prove to myself and my coaches that I could be the leader our team needed me to be. In my first two years I had won a few tournament. However this year I took first at three of the four tournaments and a heartbrakeing second at the other. However that match was one of my best learning experiences and reminded me that wrestling is a sport of heart just as much as talent. Wrestling has became a large part of my life, it is a way I can learn and meet new people while challenging myself in a sport I love. I also have been doing MMA for four years now. I hold the 125 pound belt in the ucfc, an orginzation I fight for. I have a current recored of 14-1 and plan to carring my fighting career on as I get older. I do not have a collage or location in mind and open to almost anywhere. After collage I would like to join the military and am not really sure what I would like to major in at the moment. My goal in wrestling is just to go as far as I can, to learn as much as I can, and to prove that I can be one of the best. I dont know what level I can compete at but whatever it is I will strive to be the best and not let down the people that have faith in me down.
