Having lost my father at the age of 6 to brain cancer, I relied heavily upon sports and coaches to fill the void. Having a coach root for me and encourage me through my youth inspired me to contribute to the team all while filling personal goals. As a student athlete, my entire life has been dedicated to one sport or another. I love the teamwork and push aspect that sports have given me. Both my mentality and character have been consistently built up over the years.
I was introduced to wrestling later than most and quickly found that the teamwork, the ups and the downs, growing together is what I liked most and what made the team. I like to see my teammates do their job, I like to motivate them just as much as they motivate me. During my junior year, which would be my first full season, I was league champion and Most Outstanding Junior Varsity as recognized by my team. As a senior and earning my spot on the varsity lineup, I am currently 14-2. My aspirations for the next level are to wrestle while getting a good education to help further my future. I strive to be the best and most reliable as I can be in and outside of the classroom.
