2010-2011 SeasonPersonal Statement
This season I competed with the elite wrestling team, California Xtreme at Super 32 Tournament in Greensboro, NC and the NUWay Challenge where I placed 2nd in my preseason . At the 2012 Sierra Nevada Classic in Reno placing 2nd at 170. 1st at Morning Star invite 170 lb, 1st Oake Ridge Invite@182 lb, 2nd Tim Brown Memorial @170 lb,1st at the Mt Clash 170 lb. As of 3/9/12 I am 44and 4 , with 25 pins,2 techs,5majors. Undefeated in League. SJS D4 Champ. 2nd at SJS Masters. I am listed in Western States "Monumental 100" 2011-12 Best From the West High School Level Wrestlers.
In addition, my training consists of running an average of five miles daily with the Cross-Country High School Team, lifting weights, and Cross-Fit training at least 3 times a week. I have tenacity, a strong work ethic, and have set high goals for myself and team. This summer I attended multiple camps including Eternal Warrior Wrestling Camp in Montana and was awarded, “The Most Inspirational Wrestler.” Most importantly, I am ranked in CA in the 170 lbs. weight class on California Wrestler .
I am also heavily involved in Student Leadership: Freshman Class President, Sophomore Class Vice President, Captain of JV Football Team, Treasurer of my school 10-12 grades, Junior Class President, and now ASB Vice President. I also initiated the first sailing team at my high school, where I instruct sailing and plan weekend outings. I am striving for new challenges anywhere in the country in wrestling, to make an impact on the team, and a college that will test my skills on and off the wrestling mat.
