Personal Statement

My name is Dylan Crane, an incoming senior at Folsom High School. I am passionate about wrestling and looking forward to competing at the collegiate level. The sport of wrestling has taught me many traits that I can apply to life such as work ethic, character and having a positive mindset. I am looking forward to giving back to the sport once my wrestling career is over. My goal for this upcoming year is to finish my high school career as a state placer and earn a 4.0 GPA both semesters. My team goals for this year are to win league, divisional and section as well as a top 10 finish at the state tournament. I am looking for a college that suits me both athletically and academically.  My goal in college is to earn a 4 year degree while competing at a championship level. Being a three sport athlete since the age of eight, I know the right balance between sports and school. I have a very strong work ethic, leadership skills and can make a positive impact on your program.
