My wrestling has developed steadily since I began competing. I played Football, Baseball, and some MMA type of workouts. As a kid, I was very athletic and I enjoyed it. I always prioritized wrestling. Some of the MMA workouts I currently do have helped with my wrestling technique. For example, my takedown game has improved more since I've trained in both disciplines and styles. I know that my technical development has positioned me well to be a vital part of your college team.
I have specific goals heading into my senior season. The first and foremost goal is to be a California State Medalist. Before this, my Junior year was fun and exciting. My Junior season was very successful, I placed 3rd in our sectional and qualified for the California State Tournament. In fact, making it to the CIF's has actually boosted my goals and I know what it takes to get on the podium! My college degree and my college wrestling career is a big factor in my life. My academic goal is to make the principal honor roll this year and continue to elevate my 3.5 GPA.
