I come from a hard-working, blue-collar family. My father owns his own business and has raised me to "always find a way". I've adapted the philosophy to both school and wrestling. I haven't always been the best wrestler growing up, but throughout my youth and early high school career so far I've found a way to make it deep into the medal rounds. I know that in order to be a well-rounded wrestler that training continues outside the wrestling room. I've made it a point to maintain my roots and work hard at both freestyle and greco in the off season, competing in as many of the USAW tournaments as possible. I believe that I am also a good teammate and always willing to stay after and work with teammates and help them maintain weight and good work ethic. School hasn't come natural to me, so that's something that I have to also work very hard in. I just know that I have to outwork a lot of people to achieve my goals on and off of the mat.
