Hi, my name is Trenton Shelton, but I go by TJ. I currently am enrolled in Meeker High School. I have won the Colorado State Wrestling Championships three times,(Freshman-160, Sophomore-170, Junior-170) in the 2A class, and was honored with the title of All-Colorado my sophomore and Junior years. I have also wrestled on various teams nationally and have wrestled some of the top ranked kids in the country. Plus, I have been taking college courses in school and out of school so I will be on track to graduating high school with an associates degree from CNCC during my senior year of high school. I have won the 100m dash at the Colorado State Championships as a freshman and runner-up my sophomore year. (Also, a 2-time runner up in the 200m) Football is the third sport that I compete in, in which I was a First Team All-State Running Back and Line Backer my Junior year. I know coming from a small town of around 2000 people, that it is going to be hard to be noticed and have the exposure to being recruited, but I believe that hard work, talent and determination will be the keys to success in following my goal/dream of being a collage athlete.
