Gavin Manning '20 Recruiting Profile

In the last four years, my wrestling has evolved both technically and from a competitive stand-point.  My senior season will be a break-out year for me.  I will be competing at 132 pounds this year and it's my goal to be a State Champion.  Currently, I have 84 varsity wins and I am looking forward to being one of the few wrestlers at my high school to reach over 100 career victories.   I was a 6th place finisher and MAWA Nationals this past year, I won my district and regional tournament as well.  Academics are also very important to me.  I maintain a solid 3.1 GPA and have taken several honors courses throughout my academic career.  At this moment, I am taking a dual enrollment English course that will allow me to earn college credit.  I know I will excel on both the mat and in the classroom again this year.  I am out to prove that I am one of the best wrestlers in the state this season.
