I am currently a Junior at Wilmington Friends School in Wilmington DE. What ever I have too do to reach my goal, I will find a way to do it. I work extremely hard for my team and my coaches. I respect everyone like a brother because your teammates are some of your closest friends. Ever since I started wrestling I realized that I could do anything if I tried hard enough. Starting freshmen year I worked the hardest I ever have worked to get a varsity spot. Not only was I able to meet my goal and succeed that season but I also learned a lot. That year as a freshmen I was third team all conference and my team went to states. We were seeded 4th and placed as semi-finalists. We as a team had never done that before, we made history. The same thing happened my Sophomore year. I had to fight to make weight and sacrifice a lot for my team while performing at a high level. I was second team all conference as a Sophomore. I am passionate about the sport of Wrestling and that passion grows with each success and challenge that I experience. I plan to continue working hard my Junior and Senior year as I strive to continue to learn and succeed. My dream for the future is to place at states. I know I can do it, but I have to work even harder. I also play football and during the time I have off I go to my wrestling club team practices. During the summers I do multiple high intensity wrestling camps at colleges to keep up my stamina and physical strength while learning as much as I can during the off-season. I love the sport because it challenges me both physically and mentally. My parents and coaches support me in my pursuits and have guided me along the way. With out them it wouldn't be possible. In college I plan to work hard and receive a good education. I can't imagine not wrestling and I would love to have the opportunity to keep wrestling on the next level. I give my all and never give up and I just want the opportunity to keep doing something that I love and am passionate about.
