Personal Statement
- I began my wrestling journey at ten and started taking it serious in middle school, where I was able to compete at the High School Varsity level. I played Varsity Football my freshman year as a 2 way starter, however I realized I was more passionate when it comes to wrestling. I have been taking the sport very seriously when it comes to my future and always strive to improve every day of training.
Last year I transferred to Jesuit High School for my Junior year and am now a Senior. This led to a newfound adversity with an intense academic curriculum as well as an intense wrestling program. I am very fortunate to attend this program however, due to these challenges I had to adjust very quickly and accelerate my training. This past season, even being let down with a 2nd place state finish, taught me self motivation and with tough losses (like the finals) leads to a lot of review and learning how to improve and move to better things.
Academically, I have a passion for physics and I am excited to pursue a major in Civil Engineering at college. I am very passionate to continue being a student-athlete in college and better myself academically as well as athletically.
