Personal Statement

I fell in love with wrestling in the 8th grade.  Since then I've been working diligently to improve in every aspect. My collegiate goal is to be an NCAA National Champion and I have taken steps toward that goal.

Prior to the start of my 10th grade season I went to my parents and told them that I felt I needed additional training outside of my coaches from high school to improve my overall skills. So the summer before my 10th grade year, I began with Club wrestling 3 days a week (which I now continue with Redskins USA Wrestling) . I continued those sessions while training 5 days a week during my wrestling season and competing in matches/tournaments . That focus and drive has dramatically improved my overall skill and allowed me to accomplish some personal goals set for myself and allowed me to better help my team. It also showed my coaches that I was willing to do what it takes to win and for that I was presented with the Coaches Award for all of my hard work this season. That push has shown me to keep working hard and I can accomplish anything!

I consistently find myself studying and wanting to wrestle the best athletes. I'm always supportive of my teammates through their ups and downs, helping to keep them motivated, focused and driven. I will always give wrestling 110% effort and NCAA here I come!!!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
