Personal Statement
My name is Austin Weaver. I am a senior in high school and this will be my 13th year wrestling. I am 5'6" and roughly 140 pounds. Throughout my life I have played football, basketball, track, and wrestling and I have enjoyed wrestling the most. Since I have been in high school I have dedicated my life to wrestling. I play football to get in shape and to make me lighter and faster on my feet. I run and lift weights in the off season and have a very strict, healthy, and balanced diet. I am a 3.9 GPA student and have worked as hard in my schooling as I have my wrestling. I am passionate about participating on a collegiate level team, and I work every day with that vision in my head. I am not really sure what college I want to attend, I am trying to evaluate all of my options still. When I get to the school that I choose, I hope to help the team and dedicate as much time and effort to the team as possible. I hope to compete not only with my opponents on the mat, but myself as well. I strive to make myself better to benefit myself and the team. Once you meet me, you will see how dedicated I am and how much I apply myself in everything that I do. I am set on political science as a major in college and will move on to law school after I recieve my degree.
