I am an 20 year old athlete from a low income family. I was born and raised in El Chorrillo, Panama City. When you are born in El Chorrillo you already have a disadvantage in terms of access to resources, good education and job opportunities. El Chorrillo is one of the poorest places in the country. Despite not having the economic resources and family support necessary to achieve a proper education, satisfy personal needs and buy my sports clothes, I have managed to obtain scholarships from Panamanian institutions due to my achievements in wrestling.Everything that I have achieved so far in terms of my education has been thanks to the efforts that I have decided to make on my own. I have average English, good enough to communicate and understand others. However, I must tell you exactly what my needs are and how much this opportunity would mean to me. , I am determined to create a better future for myself and my family. I would love to join your wrestling team, however it is certainly impossible for me to join without a good scholarship. I am more than grateful to you for taking the time to read this .
