My name is Carlos Vincent Leyva. I am 16 years old , I was born in california ,and had made a sudden move to kansas. I Had no interest in wrestling until I had moved to kansas. I started in 7th grade and gradually got better and had fallen in love with the sport. Wrestling became my main sport and my only passion. I wrestle every chance I get , I go with friend to our local wrestling room and practice almost every other day. I try my best to keep my weigh stable and low but doesn’t always happen I normally cut 15-20lbs every week when I wrestle in highschool. My dedication for wrestling is 100%. I take wrestling very serious. If I get a chance to go to a wrestling camp or tournament , or a practice I do everything in my power to attend it. I go on 5mile runs every other day to keep myself in shape for seasons. I go to the gym and keep my strength up , along with my diet I eat real well to keep my energy and nutrition up. I do whats best for the team to improve rather then myself. I put my team before myself because at the end of the day you are a team and without one another you have nothing. I
wrestle low weights to have my best experience and performances. I never consider myself the best or good at wrestling, I always have considered myself just okay I never like to make myself look or feel better then others or any opponents in general. I have true dedication to anything I do , As if a coach were to tell me they needed me to drop 20lbs for an opportunity or just needed me there I would do it no questions asked. I would love the support from everyone one of you recruiters , thats the most I ask of you all.
