Zackery Grimes '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Zack Grimes and since I've been in Elementary School its been my dream to wrestle at the College level. I've wrestled in Kids clubs for over a decade and have traveled to National tournaments in Iowa and Indiana. I also have a small amount of Freestyle and Greco experience at the National Level. I'm a 2 time Kansas Kids State Champion and a 5 Time Placer. I've Placed twice in high school. Currently I am a 6'2", 200 lbs. Senior at Osawatomie High School. As a Junior I was the Team Captain and selected as my region's 4A Wrestler of the Year, winning my second regional championship in the process. Unfortunately I'm coming off of ACL Surgery and rehabbing hard. I'm a very dedicated worker. This has shown during my Rehab process. I wrestled my junior year with the torn ACL and was very close to making the State Finals, but had to injury default to 6th. I can promise I'll be back for the '10 &'11 season to try and capture a 4A Kansas state title. I'm very interested in Industrial arts and teaching. I'm open to any school in the nation. I know that college will be a huge step and realize it will be difficult but my overall goal is to be competing at the highest level as soon as I have earned the chance.
