My name is Sean Dorsett, I am 18 years old, my height is 5’6 and I currently wrestle in the 195 weight class. I began wrestling in 7th grade on a club team and have been on the Varsity team since my Sophmore year under coach Trevor Carrier and Shelby Thibodeaux. I would like to continue wrestling after high school while working on a Business degree. I live in Louisiana and wrestling is not very big around this region therefore I am open to any form of collegiate wrestling.
I believe I would be beneficial on any team due to the fact that I am a driven and disciplined athlete who gives my all and wants to continue to better myself on the mat and in class.
I was unable to wrestle my JR year due to a torn hamstring injury I received during a football game that required surgery. During that time I continued to be a team player by assisting anyway I could during practice and tournaments. I have been fully medically released and look forward to finishing my SR year strong.
