I started wrestling after doing almost a decade in Jujitsu. I moved to wrestling because of the faster pace and because it was something I could do in High School that would help get me into College and I fell in love with it. After one year wrestling with a club team I made Varsity at James M Bennett my freshman year wrestling 113 and qualified for States. While I did not go as far in the event as I would have liked to, being able to go was an honor and I look forward to representing my school again in the years to come.
Academically I do well and work hard. I am currently completing the paperwork for my Boy Scout Eagle Scout Award. I enjoy spending my free time fishing, camping, and being outdoors.
I feel my record shows that while I have not been in the sport as long as others; I learn quickly, adapt well, and have natural talent. I am told by my coaches and teachers that though I am quite with them, I am "teachable".
