Personal Statement
I'm an overachiever when it comes to my academics and have maintained a 3.85 or above through my entire high school career. Currently, as a junior, I have a 3.93 GPA. While I feel that academics is my strong suit, I have a passion for wrestling and have been on the mat since I was 6 years old. I have always been one of the hardest working athletes on the mat as well as offering my knowledge and leadership to my fellow teammates. Given an opportunity to wrestle in a college setting will satisfy my efforts that I have worked so hard for and to make it to this level would be a dream come true. I strive in a team environment, I enjoy winning and remain humble. I lose with grace and dignity and learn from defeat. As a well-rounded scholar athlete, wrestling in college is certainly my next goal to attain.
