Personal Statement

A solid 4 year degree that will take me into a job that I enjoy.  While in college, I want to experience a sport at the collegiate level,  including some quality coaching to take me as far as I can go, making use of my health and fitness and drive while I'm young.  I love to compete and win, but I can handle losses as that's part of the experience, and they're usually necessary for continued growth.  It's hard to learn in wrestling if you don't lose once in a while.

  • Berk began wrestling when he was 4 years old and went to Pride Rock Wrestling in Redwood City, California, wrestling through about 5 years old. He lost a couple of seasons when moving to Grosse Pointe Michigan in late 2013, picking it up again early 2016 at Warren Pride, at Warren Woods Tower High School, Warren, Michigan. He went undefeated at Pierce Middle School, Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He's done many, many camps, and wrestled MYWAY and MMWA for several years. He's also wrestled many, many tournaments, individual and duals.
