Adam Ball '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Adam Ball. I began wrestling halfway through 7th grade. I never wanted anything to do with the sport but the coach at Manistee was... different. He got me up there one day and two days later I participated in my first meet. Needless to say I got destroyed, but I also fell in love. Ever since then wrestling has been my reason to live. I have been part of the varsity team all four years in high school. As a freshmen I accumulated less than 10 wins at the varsity level. But i came back as a sophomore and went 35-15, still not satisfied. Junior year I had over 50 wins and placed 8th in the Michigan State finals and 4th at Brute Nationals. It is mid-senior year and my record as of now is 38-1. It is my goal to be a college wrestler. I'm always looking to improve and learn. As a member of your team I could prove myself a leader. Right now I am leaving my options open to any schools that show interest in me.
