My goals and aspirations for college are defined as a motivation to drive through any situation and pursue my dreams. One day I would like to be on a college wrestling team as a heavyweight wrestler with a record that I am proud of. I would love to win every bout I am in, but life is not about winning everything. Sometimes the greatest accomplishment and motivator is when losing against an opponent with 3 seconds on the clock, score is tied, the opponent does a move and gains the last point of the match. In these moments is where a real wrestler will become successful. I am very fortunate to have won many matches and undefeated for several years wrestling with Myway, Nuway, USA and Middle school wrestling. When I have lost it has helped mold me and drive me to achieve the successes I have done so far. I am looking forward to my high school career and gaining knowledge and experience working with my teammates and coaches. I am looking to prepare myself for the career in college academically and being on a collegiate wrestling team. I have obtained many skills to this point and with my attitude, skills and determination to not quit when up against giants makes me a teamplayer and coachable asset to any team looking to select a successful wrestler. One of my strengths with my attitude is to never slack at anything and pursue any obstacle as a challenge and overcome fears with successful stories. I believe strengths gain power and with that power achievement is gained.
