My lifelong dream has always been not only to compete as a division 1 athlete, but reach an all American status. I feel through college I will not only greatly improve my wrestling skills I will learn more skills needed to be a successful person in life. Academics in college will help me become the person I would like to be in the future but wrestling always has and always will be a way of life for me. I have been wrestling varsity for our High School Team since 7th grade as well as going to state my 7th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade seasons. This year I came up short of my ultimate High School goal of becoming a State Champion, placing second at 160 lbs. Coming up short of my high school dreams of a State Championship is what continuously drives me to become better every single day, and I will be striving for a Title next year. My freshman year I placed 5th at 145 pounds. My ultimate goal in wrestling is to win a National Championship, I believe in setting goals to the max so you have something to strive for continuously. Also I would like to make an impact and positively influence any team I am apart of. Doing my part individually to give the team the best chance of succeeding is very important to me. Team Championships is the ultimate goal and that's what I strive for.
