Floyd Miller ‘19 Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

I am 5' 11", 170# weight class from Buffalo, Mo. I have started with the Buffalo HS varsity team for 3 years and earned All American status all 3 years and achieving 3rd place this year.  I have been team captain the last two years. I have earned 150 career wins, Academic All American 3 years, hold the school record for highest wins in 1 season, highest percentage of career wins, most pins in a single season for Buffalo HS, and the most pins in 2017 season for the state of Missouri, and hold the record for the fastest pin in the state Class I for 170#. I have  a 3.9 GPA.  I am confident, competitive, trustworthy, dependable and strive for excellence in everything I do. While being involved in National Honors Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Spanish Club, I also hold a Bronze level coaching card through USA wrestling and help to coach the youth at my former youth club.

I am looking for an institution where I can be a top competitor as well as pursue a degree in Veterinarian Science.  I strive to find a team where I can pursue an individual national title as well as help my team win a team national title. I want to be a good practice partner by pushing the pace and being a leader in the room as well as learn from my teammates and coaches to help improve my wrestling.
