Personal Statement

My name is Hayden. I am a Junior at Helena High School. My goal this season is to be a state champion. This off-season a hit the weights hard and spent a lot of time drilling on the mat. I also spent 2 weeks at camp with Purler Wrestling. Wrestling is my life and I love it.

My accomplishments as a freshman at 132lbs: I set the Helena High Freshman pin record at the varsity level with 23 staples. I also lead the team in pins. I placed 2nd at AA seeding/regionals tournament. I also received the Helena High Freshman Outstanding Wrestler award.
Here's what Coach Burke had to say about me as a freshman "He had an outstanding season. He continued to amaze the coaches by how poised he was for a freshman. He was never intimidated and he expected to win every match when he got on the mat. That's something you just don't always see... "

As a sophomore i posted a 20-9 record and placed 3rd at seeding/regionals and 6th at the MT state Championships at 145lbs.

My future goals are to be a multiple HS state champion, a college national champion (SERIOUSLY), and eventually compete at the international level.
