Personal Statement

I'm dedicated to always finding ways to improve myself as a student of life.  My parents have taught me about the values of hard work, perseverance, and contributing to a team.  I am grounded very deeply in my faith and because of that I will remain strong and courageous and try not to be dismayed by those things in life that will tempt me and challenge my goodness within.  I believe in being honorable in my actions, courageous to do what is right and committed to an attitude that I can control.  I may not be a straight A student, but I know I have the ability to contribute in many ways and places and my best effort is what I will give.  This is who I am.

Trailing 33-27 in a battle of No. 1s in the dual rankings, Cody Everhart and Lance Jarrett recorded back-to-back pins to help the Class B No. 1 Dragons defeat Class A No. 1 Kearney 39-33 Saturday at the Heartland Events Center. The comeback helped Gretna finish 7-0 during the two-day event to take home the Fracas title for the second consecutive year. The Dragons defeated Kearney 30-27 in last year’s dual final. At 152 pounds, Everhart (No. 4 in Class B) pinned Jud Kuchera in 4:24, while Jarrett (No. 2 in Class B) stuck Trey Grube (No. 3 in Class A) in at 160 in 3:38 to clinch the title. http://www.omaha.com/neprepzone/wrestling/gretna-s-reversal-gives-it-flatwater-fracas-title-over-kearney/article_07c76c12-c4b5-11e6-8e43-b3e2ebb84fab.html

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
