My name is David Kalayanaprapruit, I’ve been a wrestler since I was ten, and I’ve grown a love for the sport. Ever since competing with a national-level youth team I’ve had passion for competing at a high level. I attribute these aspirations to my practice routine by being a hard worker and exhibiting dedication to improving my skill every day. Beyond the personal lessons I’ve manifested from being a wrestler, I have came across so many amazing people apart of the sport. Coaches and parents that I have traveled to tournaments with have been great mentors for me, and I’m blessed to have experienced being apart of such amazing teams with great teammates and role models.
My collegiate goals are to be on a competitive wrestling team that compliments a great education. As a student I am invested in my school work- I attend all honors classes and will do the same for my senior year. Also, as a student I am very interested in science and hope to find a program that allows me to develop my interest. I am interested in majoring in either Biochemistry or Biology. However, my interest in both has made it difficult to come to a consensus as of yet. After college I plan to attend dental school, so I hope to find a program that will set me on the right path to do so.
