Coaches - I am happy to announce that I have decided to continue my education and my wrestling career at Johnson and Wales University (JWU). Thank you all for your interest. I would like to thank my coaches for all of their hard work and dedication in helping me to get where I am.
"A wounded lion is still a lion..." I have returned after rehab and recovery from an elbow injury that cost me the end of my Junior season. I was 20-2 at the time and a returning State Champion. I am wrestling 5 days a week pre-season with some challenging tournaments lined up, as well as running and lifting. I have been voted a team captain and will be working hard both individually, and as a team leader, to reach my goals and to accomplish our team goals this year.
I have been wrestling since the 5th grade, and wrestling has become an important part of my life. My town canceled wrestling my freshman year, due to COVID, but I was able to stay focused with my club wrestling and come back to win an All-State title as well as a Division 1 title my sophomore year (my first year of high school wrestling). I push myself in the practice room and work my hardest to better the team. I am looking forward to continuing my career at the collegiate level once my high school career is finished.

- Kiaben's high school canceled wrestling in 2021. He wrestled at Smitty's during his freshman year, with limited competition due to COVID

- Kiaben was 26-1 and won NH Middle School State Championship at 124 lbs; he also won NHWAY 130 lbs State Championship as he went up a weight class to prepare for the New England Championships, which were canceled due to COVID.

- Pinned my way to the finals where I suffered a torn UCL. Unfortunately out for the rest of this season. Posted a record of 20-2 prior to my injury with 17 pins. I will be back on the mat this summer and better than ever next season.

- Placed 2nd out of 85 wrestlers, with 4 pins, to include a pin in the semi-finals. This is the premier holiday tournament in New England with 85 teams. Season record 14-2 with both losses in tournament finals.

- I pinned my way to the championship, defeating a wrestler in the finals who was 6-0 this season. I pinned him in under a minute. Current record is 9-1 with 7 pins.
