Personal Statement
I have been wrestling since kindergarten, yet it was not until I was in middle school that I decided that I wanted to take this sport seriously and since then it has been become a very large part of my life and my family's life. Through wrestling I have met many people that have taught me many lessons. I have learned to do things even when I do not want to do them, I have learned about sacrifice, being a helping hand, and to be open-minded. During my sophomore season I had a very disappointing season that reached more lows than highs. However, my persistence led me to a more satisfying junior year in the post season and I am now more focused than ever. Now I am making each day count by improving myself in some way to help me reach the top of the podium my senior year.
During my time with the Camden Catholic Fighting Irish, we have become 3x Conference Champs, 3x District Champs, 2x State Sectional Champs, 1x Virginia Duals Champs, and 1x New Jersey State Champs. I am looking for a college with good academics and a wrestling team that I can help achieve new heights.
