Becoming a state qualifier my senior year, was my ultimate accomplishment. Although, placing 3rd at a state level was not my objective, it provided abundant satisfaction to know my hard work was paying off. Being apart of various wrestling programs through a span of 6 years, has convinced me to continue my wrestling career at a college level. After contemplating my future with wrestling, my senior year was fully focused on becoming successful, so I could receive the opportunity to continue my passion.
I have faced several obstacles, that at times discouraged my self consciousness and ability, but the passion I have for wrestling has helped me overcome these obstacles. I had the responsibility of stepping up as a leader not only at my high school wrestling team, but as well as my club wrestling group. I have helped younger children, as well as kids my age, learn skill sets and the character needed to become a successful wrestler. With a season of 60 wins, I have learned a lot about myself as a person, and as an athlete. I learned that I am intrinsically motivated, dedicated and team focused. I am looking for a program that will help me continue my desire for wrestling, as well as help me meet my academic goals. Having worked my way from the very bottom, to where I stand today, I think that my skills and character would be very useful to your team!
