Ryan Diltz '16 Recruiting Profile

       My name is Ryan Diltz. I am an eighth grader and I attend Delphos Jefferson Middle School. I am 6'0 tall and I am very quick. I run the 400m Dash in Track and I start with the baton in the 4/400 relay. I play tight end and defencive end in football. My wrestling season is 4 meets into the season and I am 15-0. I  wrestle in the 160 weight class, and only have 3 points scored on me all year. I have helped my team get a 2nd place Trophy in one of the biggest Invintationals of the year and I always push myself to the next level.
        I most important accomplishment(s) this year are 1st place in every meet i've wrestled in and options to go to regionals and state. It is my second year and I used last year as a little bit of a wake up call, because I was not as good. I worked out all off season and worked on my skills and stamina to make myself a better wrestler.
       I really want an opportunity to go to Purdue University, or Michigan University. I would like to go to Purdue because I know they are a great school for sports. I would like to go to Michigan because of the location and the sports.
       I can offer a team a very good wrestler and alot of extra points in the long run. Hard work to me is always giving your meets and even your practices your hardest. I like to work on new moves at practice so I can get better eventually in using that move in matches. I think that practices are needed and are the perfect time to work or learn on new moves. My family has financial needs, but it has always been my dream to attend a good college.
