I began my first year of wrestling in November of 2018 and acquired 15 wins among 19 losses. Though that is not a winning record, as a first year I am very proud of that because within every tournament I felt and watched myself progress. So much to the point that my summer record in 2019 for folk-style wrestling was 17 and 4. With this much progression with not even a year of experience in the sport shows why I would be a great candidate for your college team I’ve worked harder in 9 months than most have in several years. That’s what puts me apart from other wrestlers. My work ethic, and my will to win and to get better. Wrestling I believe is one of the hardest sports and it teaches me so much on and off the mat. I believe that with the way I am progressing, by next season I will be a well known competitor in Ohio, one of the hardest state championships in the nation. My plan for college is to study entrepreneurship, and I aspire to start a business with my learnings as I head forward in life.
