Kyle Bryant '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyle Bryant and I am 5'9 and walk around at 175lbs.I have been wrestling since the age of 7 and find the most enjoyment in life when I am on the mat. (I am not wrestling the 2011-2012 season for personal reasons and am ready to get back at it for the 2012-2013 season.) My desire is to wrestle 157/ 165 in college.My senior year I was captain and we won the league championship for the first time in school history. I placed 3rd at state losing only to Mark Martin in the semi finals 3-0; that ties the school record for highest placement at state. In addition I hold 7 school titles including most career wins. I was also named wrestler of the year in my conference.  My junior year I was also captain; won sectionals and districts and placed 5th at state. My sophomore year I was a state qualifier going 1 and 2 at the state meet.I wrestle year round at camps and clubs to stay competitive in wrestling. My desired major is education in history. I want to wrestle at the highest competition level possible along with a team with the drive to win and succeed like I do. A national title is a goal I have set for what divison I will compete in.
