I started wrestling as soon as my town got a biddy league team. I stayed with it for about 3 years. Middle School came around and our wrestling team was a joke. Nobody wrestled in Middle School including myself. I played other sports and kept lifting weights to keep myself conditioned year round. It was sophomore year that I got back into wrestling.
In my two years of high school wrestling I have developed a great work ethic. I have become very disciplined. Wrestling got me more focused on school. I strive for a better education. I believe I have what it takes to compete at a collegiate level. I train hard, give everything I have, and never give up.
I have many leadership traits that help me lead my high school team. I have become a role model to the biddy league wrestlers. I strive to compete against the best whether I win or lose. Whether I have to go out of my weight class to do it. I want to one day wrestle at the highest level I can achieve for myself.
