Personal Statement
Growing up I always wanted to be like my older brothers. They did all kinds of sports and I followed in there footsteps. My one brother started wrestling in high school, so I joined my towns biddy program. After that year of biddy I knew that wrestling was the sport I wanted to do for as long as I could. Wrestling over the years has taught me discipline and dedication. These lessons have made me the person I am today. I use my leadership and discipline taught by wrestling at work. This has cause me to become a supervisor.
My goals for school are to do my best and get a degree. I want to get a degree in mechanical engineering and get to wreslte while do it.
The best way I can describe my wrestling style is technical. I focus on the little things in my technique that can make a major difference in the way you hit something. In the room I find my self taking new technic very slow at first thinking through hand placements and details. Once I feel I fully get the move I speed it up and hit it 30 to 30 times. I'll then try to use it in live to make sure I can hit the move with full resistance.
I am a neutral dominant wrestler. I prefer to be on my feet because I feel more in control. My options are open to score there. I have my shots and his shot to score off of. My go to on my feet is a fireman or barrel.
