My goal is to be someone who inspires others. I have worked really hard to get where I am at as a student, musician and athlete. Growing up, I wasn't particularly good at anything and didn't have the financial or moral support needed, but that didn't stop me. I self-taught myself how to both play many instruments and read/compose music for them. I also sought out academic help and received lots of support from school teachers, counselors and my parents. Using all this support, I brought my GPA from a 2.8 to a 3.4 and have maintained it. As a wrestler, I pushed myself to be the best athlete I can be. Technique and talent wise, I'm not the cream of the crop. I know that I have a lot to learn, but I use what I know wisely. While I work hard to better myself as a wrestler, I work even harder to help better the team in any way I can- always pushing them to be better. I work as hard as I can to try and inspire my teammates and other wrestlers I encounter on the mat. I spent over a decade wrestling and the values it has taught me have changed my life, and I want to continue growing as both a wrestler and a person after high school- to be a part of a passionate team that pushes each other to improve everyday.
