My goals are to settle at a university that will provide me with an education and preparation for a career once my athletic go around ends. Wresting has given me the discipline to be competitive in the classroom, at practice, and at any competition, and I feel I can carry this forward into a college learning environment. I have competed on a very big stage at a young age giving me the development and maturity to handle any adversity in the classroom, on the field, or on the mat. My Catholic education has given me the foundation of a strong life in faith as well the necessary preparation for the College classroom.
A life full of success is what I strive to carry out and I plan to take the following steps to provide myself with a broad pathway to walk along with the help of family and supporters:
As succeeding may not be the easiest for some people, I have collected a numerous amount of winnings and awards to start my career of long-term success. The following attributes are some of the many awards I have won in the sport of wrestling dating back to my first year:
In addition to these winnings I have also placed third in the PJW Junior High State Tournament and over the summer I went undefeated in freestyle at Daytona Beach, Florida at the the Daytona Beach Freestyle and Greco Duals. Currently I hold a 25-2 record at in high school at the weights of 160lbs and 170lbs and I strive to place at the high school tournament as a freshman. To prelude the state tournament which will come at the end at the end of the season, I have already completed some high school feats as a freshman including; placing 7th at the Powerade Wrestling Tournament, champion of The Conemaugh Township Tournament, and champion of the Mercer High School Tournament. Recently also have placed 2015 Pennsylvania State Championships and received 8th place as freshman. Moving to 2016, added a state 2nd place medal to my achievements as well as runner-up at the NHSCA Individual National High School Tournament in the Sophomore Division and 8th at Flo Nationals.
