Personal Statement

I am a hardworking student athlete that looks to strive as much as possible in the class room as in on the mat. I enroll myself in challenging courses to push myself mentally while still finding the time to work my body physically by working out everyday. I also am apart of extracurricular activities such as FBLA(Future Business Leaders of America) and my class's steering committee where I was the Secretary for my class in the 2013/2014 school year. I have big goals that I have yet to achieve and I will not stop working hard until I have achieved my goals.

Won PA State Titles in both Freestyle & Greco at 160 lbs. Qualified for 3rd trip to Nationals in Fargo, ND.
2014 Benton Tiger Wrestling Club (Freestyle/Greco)
I missed most of the Spring Freestyle/Greco season due to shoulder surgery (torn labrum), but did make it back for PAWF States. For the second consecutive year, I won gold in Greco and placed 4th in Freestyle. These results qualified me for another trip to Nationals in Fargo, ND.
2013 Team Avalanche (Freestyle/Greco)
Small club in NE Pennsylvania lead by Michael Carroll. Wrestled in several qualifiers throughout the Spring and won PA States Greco Gold in the Cadet 145lb bracket. Competed at Nationals in Fargo, ND where I finished with All-American Status as a 5th place finisher.
