Bryson Neidigh '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Bryson Neidigh and I am currently a junior at York Suburban High School in Pennsylvania. I have been wrestling for the same school for 11 years. Through my years, I have learned several different lessons that are very important not only on the mat, but also in life. Some of my best qualities include being a hard worker, being able to listen to criticism and make adjustments as needed, I am a team player and want the best for everyone, and all around I am willing to do what is needed for the team to grow and develop. In my one year remaining, I am working to improve on my 6th place finish at Districts, and qualifying for the state tournament.  I also am looking to attend any off-season camps or clinics to improve my skills and techniques.   In college, I plan on majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Special Education. Although my academics may be similar to several candidates, one thing I am willing to do that most are not is put in the extra work when I do not understand something or I am struggling. I will keep working on something until I understand it; this also applies to wrestling, I will work on what I need to in order to become a stronger wrestler. One last thing I want to say is that I know wrestling is just as much mental as it is physical. We all have those days where we are tired and want to give up, but that's not what matters, what matters is how you react and adapt to keep fighting through those thoughts. This is one of the biggest things that I am able to offer not only in the classroom, but also in the practice room and on the mat.
