My name is Slater Johnson, I have been wrestling since I was four. I have been blessed to have great coaches and mentors along the way. My dad John Johnson club coach (graduate and wrestler of University of Nebraska at Kearney) Brandon Slay club coach (olympic gold medalist), and my current high school coach since 7th grade(Joe Stafford All American for OU and assistant at OU and Wyoming) My coaches have made a huge effect on me as a wrestler student and person. I know I have not won every match but I expect to win everytime I step on the mat. My education falls along the same lines I expect to make an A in every class, however this doesnt always happen. I expect to be a state champion in the year 2014. I expect to wrestle in college and be a national champion. I expect to go to college and get a great degree. I am determined to be the best and figure out a way to win at everything I pursue. My goals are long term; I know I will have the result of day to day determination. I will continue to work on being consistent. I know along the way I will have success and failures, I am after all me. I know everything I do is going to add up to to be something great. I know if I continue to work on me, mentally, physically and spiritually, I will succeed in every aspect. Thank you for cosidering me to be part of the future of your team.
