Micah Morrow '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach my name is Micah Morrow I attend Vista Ridge High School.I am a 5‘ 4 120 lbs. Sophomore. As a true freshman  I  wrestled at 106-lbs weight class as a Junior Varsity wrestler. Hopefully as a Sophomore I should be wrestling Varsity at 120 lbs Weight class this season at a very competitive wrestling school in Central Texas.Even though I am a three-sport athlete Football and Track as well wrestling is my passion.I play Corner and Wide Receiver for Vista Ridge and I’m averaging around 5:15 in the mile and 2:15 in the 800m for High School and AAU standings,along with UIL sports. I am also involved in Mu Sool Won Korean Karate and on the brink of obtaining my black belt.When I accomplish this feat I’m crossing over to Jiu-Jitsu to help my wrestling skill set.Being involved with so many extra-curricular endeavors I have still maintained my 3.2 G.P.A so far and will be taking my PSAT SAT this year to prepare for college early.I take my grades very seriously being a student-athlete student being first.I have been blessed to train thus far outside of school with my Dad who is a professional speed-and-Conditioning coach alongside with Pro,Collegiate and very good High School athletes.So without a doubt I will be prepared leaving High School for the collegiate student-athlete load mentally and physically.If given the opportunity to attend  I will be a great asset to the institution and the community.
