The reasons I want to wrestle in college are simple, I don't want to lose my sport, I want to wrestle higher level competition, and lastly I haven't reached my full potential yet. The first two reasons are self explanatory. The last one requires some elaborating.
My full potential hasn't been reached. Everyone in the wrestling world seemsto start at 4 or 5, Yet I started in 7th grade. Every year my abilities have increased twofold. I went from a freshmen that finished his season 3-19, and in two years time being one takedown away from placing at the respected WIAA state tournament. For that reason I know my senior year will be a thing of beauty, and what ever college coach that recruits me has an athlete that has yet to plateau and will continue to grow as an elite wrestler under their guidance.

Notes: In Eighth grade I did two-a-days to help fast track my progression as it was my second year. I did this because I fell in love with wrestling, and felt like my standard middle school practice was not supplementing me enough. I did not wrestle tournaments with them during the middle school season due to WIAA rules. I would just stay and practice with them from 6-8 after I finished practicing with the school's team from 330-530
