Alexander Perelshtein '22 Recruiting Profile

I want to continue to wrestle in college. I am a junior captain of my varsity team. I am currently ranked 5th in Wisconsin at 220 lbs. I wrestle both 220 and HWT. I am big, fast and strong and I have big dreams. There is no off season for me. My motto is bigger, faster, stronger - and I work at that every day of my life. I would wrestle at any college that has a business program.  Of course, I am from Wisconsin and love my Badgers. However, I want to wrestle - Division I, IA, II or III. My goal is to make this body a lean, big, fast and strong machine and all this hard work in the gym and turning down pizza for a protein shake will one day pave the way to my goal of collegiate wrestling . Work hard / Play hard! There is no I in team!

I enjoy helping out youth wrestling programs like the Grafton Gators. This is the program where I started and gave me my love for wrestling. I enjoy teaching the little kids the basics and roots of wrestling as well as growing their love for this amazing sport. I have two amazing humans to thank for my start in wrestling and my heart for wrestling and that's Coach Dowling and Coach Magno. The best way I can thank them is teaching the little kids what they taught me. They say imitation is the best form of a compliment.

Wrestling / Football /  Working Out / School = my life! Not much time for anything else. I work hard at my craft and I work hard in school! Why - my hope is that my craft combined with my grades will allow me to continue to wrestle in college. I come from a small town in Wisconsin. 4 seasons here. So if I am lucky to have some free time on the weekends, you will find me with my family snowmobiling, skiing, boating, atving, hunting and playing my Xbox!
