I started wrestling in junior high. The reason I started was when my friends told me if I don't make the basketball team I have to join the wrestling team, so I said deal. One practice later there I was at wrestling practice cut from the basketball team. Ever since then I have grown in the sport and have loved it. I think I would be a good asset for any college wrestling team for a few reasons. I still have my drive and dedication to continue to grow in this sport which has shown in my rankings over the years. I also think I can learn a lot more and go all the way at the college level. My goals this year are just the same as every one else and that is to take state. My academic goal is to finish this year with a 3.6 GPA and to have my overall GPA a 3.2 or higher. My best high school accomplishments were from last year when I took 4th at regionals and was one match away from placing at state.
