First, I want to continue to do well in high school, both in class and on the field. I realize it's important to study and make good grades now so I can have a better chance at being prepared for college. The same is true for baseball. By working hard in preparation for games, I can be a leader for my team and help it be successful.
After high school, I hope to play college baseball because I really think playing baseball is fun - even the hard work that it takes to be able to compete at a high level. I want to use my education in college to help me prepare for life after college.
Playing baseball is an important part of my education and building leadership abilities.
