I started playing football during my sophomore year after primarily focusing on basketball. I enjoyed the contact and the way I could use my basketball skills to help me as a receiver. Prior to my junior season, our school was raised to the 7A classification in the state of Alabama and competing in one of the toughest regions in the southeast. It was a challenging year, but it taught me how to work through team adversity and focus on how to best achieve team and individual goals. While we didn't win many games, enthusiasm for the program grew as our team never quit and stepped up to the competition. It made me hungry to work harder this offseason to get bigger, stronger, and faster and put myself in position to have a great senior season and achieve my goal of playing football at the collegiate level. I lead by example. I believe I would make a great addition to any team because I set good examples, work hard in practice and the weight room, and encourage my teammates to do the same.
