Coaches and Other University Leaders,
I've never gone through any part of my life, that I can remember, without baseball. Through my educational journey to date, the one constant is baseball. Tee ball and Kindergarten, to this, my Varsity, senior high school finale, baseball, and the leadership, support and companionship it has provided, has always been part of the fabric of my life.
And for the love of the game, I would like it to continue. My scholarly desires are reflected in the wok ethic I have, and carrying a load of Ap classes, working part time and playing baseball have established in me a balanced look at the rigors of what I anticipate to be a very successful college academic and athletic career.
I sometimes am challenged at promoting my own skills. Even after being named player of the year in one of the most competitive leagues, I find it difficult to speak my own praises, so I reached out to my mentors and coaches and have of their words:
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Max Pappas. I have known Max for 3 years. I have had the pleasure to coach him in high school baseball. In my 21 years of experience with coaching student athletes, Max stands out as a student of the game of baseball with a superb skill set as a pitcher and an infielder. It is rare when you encounter a young man with a natural instinct like Max who is able to pitch the way that he does and be able to play the infield with such accomplishments has he has. Last year he played third base when he was not pitching and only had 1 error and had a batting average of .406. Pitching he had a tremendous year, with an ERA of 2.33 with 18 strikeouts. All of these achievements earned him Player of the year as his team went on to win league with an 11-1 record.
Max’s ability to read the batter is remarkable. He always does his homework on his batters he will be facing. His coaches respect and value his opinion on what type of approach they should have on each individual batter. Max is a very good teammate. He assists others with a positive attitude and the love for the game. He instinctively knows that winning is a team effort and wants everyone on board to succeed. Max puts forth hard work and determination that it takes to be a great student athlete.
Max has dedicated himself to a baseball lifestyle. He possesses qualities that ever ball player needs: He has a tremendous skill set; he leads by example with a positive attitude, and wants to learn and gain knowledge from others so he can succeed. Max is a top candidate for any baseball program.
I cannot wait to see Max taking his skills and knowledge for the game to the next level. Without reservation, I would recommend Max Pappas for any baseball program, he would be an outstanding addition, who would have an immediate impact on your baseball club.
Sincerely,
Coach Beato

I hope you will consider me an asset to your organization and your school and we can have many conversation to establish the fact we can create collegiate success together.
Cordially,
Maxwell Pappas
