Personal Statement
Since I began Little League, it has been my dream and aspiration to set foot on the baseball diamond as a college baseball player. This goal has pushed me to work as hard as I can, both on and off the field, to make this dream a reality. Every day I work to become an improved person, student, and athlete in order to make myself in to the best human being I can be. I am a very versatile player and I can play anywhere on the diamond in order to contribute to the success of a team. In this past year I received Humboldt-Del Norte All-County First Team selection and Varsity Team MVP. In the classroom I currently maintain a 4.5 GPA and I got myself involved with the LINK program and Interact Club. An important quality that I possess is my leadership ability. I take pride in success and push my fellow teammates in order to get a competitive and winning attitude as well as top notch effort. In addition, I put a large emphasis on respecting the game and not letting competitiveness overshadow the core values of life. Every time I step foot on the field I give it absolutely everything I have in order to obtain the ultimate goal of winning.
In the classroom I strive to learn as much as I can to set myself up for a successful future. I work extremely hard in school in order to one day start a family and raise my children with the same morals that I was raised with.
In conclusion, I hope to get the opportunity of bringing my character and skill set to my team and school and I look forward to giving every ounce of effort I have into winning.
