Ever since I was able to pick up a ball, I could not put it down. When I step on that baseball field, it feels like a second home to me. No matter what mood I’m in or what kind of day I am having, whenever I step on that field, I feel so calm and I get that motivation to want to work hard. The thing that makes me different from everyone else is that I am always working towards achieving my goals. The thing is my goals are ongoing, meaning I will never stop working hard because every day there is something that I can do to be improving myself. Throughout my life, my grandpa has always been my motivation to keep working hard so he can see me play in the next level of baseball. That’s what he lives for is to see my play. He attends all my games no matter how far or how he is feeling, that is what he looks forwards too. For him to get the chance to see me play at the next level would make him so proud and that’s what I want to do. Anywhere you put me in the field I will produce. I love hitting balls in the gap and having that aggressiveness to take that extra base. Every day I work out and hit off the tee so I can improve myself. Baseball is what I live for and my dream of playing in the MLB.
